Experts will be on hand to discuss the details of the Help to Sell scheme and explain how it can make the home selling and buying process run more smoothly. The initiative, which is available at our Mandeville Crescent development in Saffron Walden, sees us working directly with homeowners and local estate agents to help sell existing homes.
How does Help to Sell work?
We organise valuations with local estate agents, and once agreed by the customer, work with the estate agent to achieve a quick, smooth sale. Once an offer has been made, homeowners are able to reserve their dream Redrow home. With Redrow managing the process from start to finish, the stress is taken away from the customer, and we will also contribute toward their moving fees, enabling them to save money before moving into their new home.
We are also delivering high quality energy efficient homes across Essex, and we recently revealed a third (33%) of homeowners in the East of England are now considering moving to a more energy efficient home in order to make savings on their bills. The research also showed that almost a third (31%) of people living in the East of England would prefer to move to a new build home due to their energy efficient features.
We are now selling a range of new generation Eco-Electric homes at Mandeville Crescent which include air source heat pumps, thicker insulation, and underfloor heating as standard. Living in an energy efficient Redrow home compared to a second-hand property helps to significantly reduce your energy consumption and costs. What’s more, purchasers can live a more sustainable lifestyle and contribute to tackling the climate crisis. As a heat pump captures heat that is already present in the environment, the system itself does not burn any fuel and therefore emits no carbon dioxide.
Mark Becker, Managing Director at Redrow Eastern, said: “At Redrow, we are committed to supporting homebuyers take their next step on the property ladder, whether they are searching for a larger home to support a growing family or even looking to downsize.
“Using the Help to Sell scheme means that customers can focus on the exciting move into a new home – rather than the stress of having to market and sell your existing property. With more people than ever looking for an energy efficient home, we’re looking forward to welcoming these homeowners to our event at Chesterford Research Park to experience the Redrow difference first hand, and speaking to experts who can reassure them about the selling and buying process.”
