Britain’s Got Talent semi- finalist AmaSing has received £1,000 from our community fund that will be used to sponsor the stage and band.
AmaSing is a multi-award winning inclusive arts organisation and charity that works with primary and high schools, colleges, universities, hospitals and residential homes to develop and enhance children’s wellbeing through exciting workshops.
These include music, composing, dance, drum, singing, drama and art as well as school shows which take place in professional venues.
In February, AmaSing is hosting its first Valentine’s Gala Ball to fundraise much needed finances to sustain and grow its projects.
Rachael Borman, founder of AmaSing, said: “Our projects support the wellbeing and mental health of thousands of local children through exciting and inclusive creative arts programmes. But to continue to do this we need to fundraise and that’s what our Valentine’s Ball is hoping to achieve. Redrow’s sponsorship of the stage and band will really help us to put on an event to remember and hopefully help us to raise £20,000 to continue with our mission in 2025.”
Last year, AmaSing worked with 8,000 children through in-person school workshops. A further 1,500 children participated in their large-scale shows plus 15,000 children were reached through interactive online sessions.
Anna Evans-Kerr, sales director at Redrow NW, said: “The work that AmaSing do is incredible and we are so pleased we have been able to help them with the gala ball. Any money raised will help the team to continue making tangible differences in the lives of thousands of children. We wish them the best of luck!”
AmaSing also supports professional development for teachers and training teachers in developing skills and opportunities to deliver singing, music and arts in the daily school curriculum.
The donation came from our community fund, linked to Kings Moat Garden Village.
