The Cliffe Woods Village Association was the first beneficiary of the grant, receiving a £400 donation toward their village fete. Located near our Oakleigh Fields development, their annual fete is held to raise funds for the much-needed extension and refurbishment of the local community centre and social club.
The PTA at Ebbsfleet Green Primary School also received £400 toward its school fete, covering over half of the fete’s running costs. The fete, which was held in June and featured a range of stalls, games, local vendors, and a food market, saw over 500 attendees. Monies raised will go toward providing audio visual equipment for the school hall, including staging and lighting, plus contribute toward the school’s new edible garden.
Ebbsfleet Primary School is located less than half a mile from Redrow South East’s regional head office, and close to our Stonehaven Park and Plaza Central developments at Ebbsfleet Garden City.
We have also donated just over £1,000 to Martha Trust in Kent for its sold out Music on the Farm event, which fundraises to provide residential and respite care for people with physical and learning disabilities.
Finally, we have sponsored Kent County Show’s Native Cattle Ring, with our team attending the Show to get to know local residents and competitors. Held in Detling, near our Maidstone developments, Monchelsea Park and The Mill, the show helps to support local farming practices and boost education about the countryside.
