Having lived in the same house in the Culverhouse Cross area of Cardiff for 28 years, the couple were keen to begin the next phase of their life in a new build so that they could downsize and start to enjoy spending more time travelling. They chose a classically styled three-bedroom Warwick at our Maes yr Haf development at Plasdwr, Cardiff before using our Help to Sell scheme to sell their existing home.
The Jerrett’s fell in love with the traditional and attractive style of our Heritage range so settled on a spacious Warwick, an impressive new property with a large lounge and extensive kitchen/dining area.
Kim and Ian said: “We knew we wanted to stay in the Cardiff area, and we wanted a new build so that we could enjoy better energy efficiency, lower running costs and more time travelling. The quality of the Redrow build, overall finish and proportions of the rooms with high ceilings and large windows providing lots of natural light, meant that we quickly decided that the Maes yr Haf development would be right for us.
“Our children have grown-up, but one is still living at home so although the move was a down-size, we still wanted plenty of space with a good layout. Using the Help to Sell service meant that we got the plot that we wanted and had the benefit of a stress-free move. The entire team got behind us and made things happen with the solicitors, agents and Redrow sales team working together to get us moved-in as quickly as possible.
“The support that we have had throughout the process has been excellent. From the time that we first viewed the show homes at Maes yr Haf to weekly updates during the build process to the after sales from the customer care team, we really have felt well looked after and we’re now enjoying a new phase of life in a fabulous new home.”
