New home gardens come with challenges and opportunities in equal measure and given how much you may have thought about styling your home, you could be forgiven for running out of ideas when it comes to the garden.
With lifestyles changing and people wanting to spend more time outside, the garden is quickly becoming the 5th room of the home and a space to live in, not just to look out on.
To help you navigate the difference between annuals and perennials and understanding what you can have a go at yourselves vs what you should leave to the professionals, we rounded up the best in the business to lend their insight.
