Our introduction of islands as an option when selecting kitchen choices in your new Redrow home reflects the way people really want to live.
In open plan rooms an island allows for the subtle separation of spaces with different functions. It can be used to divide and define the practicality of the food preparation area from the sociability of the dining and family room.
Add stylish bar stools and the island becomes a focal point. It also increases the seating options - perfect for breakfast in a hurry, casual dining, or a drink with friends.
For those who love to cook, an island offers additional work surface area and storage, helping to maximise the space available.
We provide all the ingredients for the perfect kitchen with an excellent range of specification choices, which can be personalised with added extras or upgrades. To enjoy a taste of what’s on the menu at your preferred location, explore My Redrow, the exclusive member’s only area of our website.
Our standard kitchens are from Moores, Symphony Omega and Halvanto, subject to location, with a choice of contemporary and classic looks available.
Let our show homes inspire you
The Warwick show home at Ledsham Garden Village in Cheshire is a prime example of how using an accent colour combined with white units can create a stunning effect. Our design team opted for the Elba white kitchen range from Moores, combined with Bremont Brown Sawcut oak, and adding Tippo white worktop for a dramatic two-tone look. White oak flooring by Amtico gives the room a light and contemporary feel.
Potted herbs add a touch of greenery to the kitchen while providing fresh ingredients for home-cooked meals.
The kitchen of our Richmond Show Home at Penlands Grange in West Sussex is light and spacious, with the dining area and family room at either side. The Cranbrook shaker style units are by Symphony in Stone with Coral Clay silestone worktop. Chester Leno plank-effect floor tiling by Porcelanosa, with its weathered effect, runs throughout the kitchen into the dining space.
Subtle use of coordinating fabrics for the breakfast stools and the roman blinds ties the space together beautifully, while natural greenery adds vibrancy.
