Lichfield-born Sophie Capewell cut the ribbon to announce the new show homes officially open this weekend, marking the grand launch of our beautiful Curborough Lakes development. Sophie is one of the top cycling sprinters in the world, taking home a gold medal in the Team Sprint at this year’s Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
The show homes launched include the three-bedroom Oxford Lifestyle, four-bedroom Sunningdale and the five-bedroom Hampstead. All three homes are from our Heritage Collection—homes with characterful features and modern interiors, inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement of the late 19th and early 20th century.
To celebrate a successful 50 years of Redrow, The Hampstead show home has been internally decorated with 70s-inspired features, including orange and brown tones, large prints and quirky accessories, creating a joyful and welcoming home.
In addition to its stunning design, The Sunningdale show home embodies our commitment to sustainability. The property is equipped with eco-friendly features, including an air source heat pump and EV charging points. The air source heat pump provides a low-carbon alternative to traditional heating systems, efficiently extracting heat from the outside air to warm the home. The inclusion of EV charging points also ensures that the home is future-proofed for the growing number of electric vehicle owners.
Elaine Cartwright, Sales Director for Redrow Midlands said: “We had an amazing morning at our show home launch, and I’d like to say a huge thank you to Sophie for officially opening Curborough Lakes, and to the people of Lichfield for being so welcoming!
“The Oxford Lifestyle, Sunningdale and Hampstead show homes are stunning examples of Redrow craftsmanship and are perfect for family life. As the long nights approach and winter chill sets in, our new homes are designed with energy efficiency in mind, from air source heat pumps to smart heating controls and more.
“Now that the show homes are officially open, we’re excited to welcome potential buyers so that they can see what life is like at Curborough Lakes, and to show them the Redrow difference first-hand.”
Located just three miles from the small town of Lichfield and with key travel routes within easy reach, including Birmingham and fast trains to London, the new development will offer village surroundings combined with a well-connected location, making it perfectly placed for first-time buyers, growing families and commuters alike.
