Organised by The Bramhall Together Trust (BTT), the Bramhall Summer Festival will be held on Saturday, June 28 and promises ‘something for everyone’, with market stalls, food trucks, drinks and live entertainment.
This year Redrow NW, building at nearby Woodford Garden Village, has sponsored the acoustic stage which will features an array of performances throughout the day.
Alejandra Solis, local resident and trustee of BTT, said: "The festival will be buzzing with live entertainment throughout the day on two stages; the Redrow acoustic stage on the Village Square and the Strawberry Radio Stage on Bramhall Lane South. You can expect local bands, musicians, singers and performers filling the air with music and good vibes.
“Thank you to all at Redrow for sponsoring the acoustic stage this year, which means we can continue offering this free, wonderful festival to both residents and visitors to the village.”
New for this year, the festival will extend to the Woodford Road Parade where kids of all ages will be able to enjoy gigantic games, sponsored by Mathnasium, bringing interactive activities for children and adults alike.
Anna Evans-Kerr, sales director at Redrow NW, said: “We are very pleased to be supporting this year’s festival which promises to be a great day out for all the family.”
Redrow is currently building homes at nearby Woodford Garden Village, occupying the former Woodford Aerodrome site. The 205-hectare development will eventually combine 920 new homes, a distinctive local centre with shops and other facilities, plus a wealth of green spaces and play areas, parks and meadow areas. A pub and primary school have already opened.
The development currently has three phases on sale, Anson Meadows, Ashton Chase and Shackleton Fields, offering a mix of three, four and five-bedroom properties.
