Work is set to begin at Redrow South West’s 7.8-acre Charlton Common development with planning now officially granted for 80 private and affordable new homes.
Charlton Common will include three and four-bedroom homes from the our award-winning Heritage Collection, which has proven popular with homebuyers looking for traditional 1930s charm combined with a contemporary and high-spec interior.
With plans now approved, homes are proposed to go on sale as early as October, this year.
An investment of over £480,000 will also be made to the local community as part of the planning agreement, with funds supporting improvements to public transport links, in addition to creating new green open spaces for the community to enjoy.
Sian Smith, Sales Director for Redrow South West, said: “We are thrilled to have received planning permission for our new Charlton Common development. We’re excited to expand upon the existing, thriving community we have already created at our nearby Frenchay Park development, which has proven incredibly popular and, is now in its final phase, with only a few homes left."
“With excellent transport links, open green spaces, and significant investment into the local community, Charlton Common is set to become a thriving and vibrant neighbourhood. We encourage first-time buyers, professionals, downsizers and families alike to register their interest to be one of the first to hear when our homes are released.”
Located in Filton, Charlton Common is surrounded by large green open spaces and is just five miles from Bristol’s vibrant city centre. The development offers the perfect balance of city and scenic living and is perfectly placed for first-time buyers, professionals, downsizers and families alike.
